Ever had a business idea you didn't know what to do with? This 1.5-day track, co-designed with SMU's Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, is built for creative students who want to explore what it actually looks like to start something.
Across 1.5 days, you'll move from raw idea to a real pitch — working through how to spot a genuine problem worth solving, who your first customers might be, and what it takes to build something people actually want.
Hear directly from founders who have started their own ventures in the creative industries. Get mentorship from experienced practitioners, and engage with frameworks that are practical. No prior business knowledge needed — just bring your ideas and curiosity.
Participants with promising ideas from the Bootcamp will receive direct access to the final intake panel stage of SMU BIG incubation programme. This fast-track support gives you a valuable launchpad to turn your concepts into real-world. ventures, with guidance from experienced mentors.
